Our Company

Whaling City Transit, Inc. is family owned and operated and provides top quality school bus, wheelchair van and van transportation in Southeastern Massachusetts. We have been in business since 1972 and incorporated in 1986.

We are pleased to announce that on January 1, Whaling City Transit has moved into our newly built facility located at 92 Sanford Road in Westport, Massachusetts. Our expanded facility to includes a state of the art garage with wash bays, auto lift service, and room for expansion on the second floor.

Currently we have over 90 vehicles which include full size school busses, 7 to 15 passenger vans, mid-sized school busses, and charter busses. Our vehicles are well maintained at our new facility. We strive on performance and service.

Our Staff

Offering years of experience in the transportation industry, our knowledgeable and resourceful staff takes pride in providing the best possible customer service. All of our employees are carefully screened, well-trained and are required to have in-service training three times per year. We do pre-employment and random drug testing as well as CORI screening to assure the utmost in passenger safety.
